Description

The Canon C500 Mark II & C300 Mark III Z-Finder from Zacuto is an optical viewfinder that uses 1.8x magnification to turn your camera’s LCD monitor into a clear, easy-to-focus viewfinder. Designed specifically for use with the Canon LM-V2 4.3″ LCD, the Z-Finder features a flip-up design and a diopter wheel for focusing. It includes two extender frames for farsighted use and can be used with separately available drop-in diopters for further correction. This finder’s large, light-proof eyecup also increases the stability of your handheld footage by adding a point of contact between the camera and your eye.

The Z-Finder uses a foam-padded sleeve to slide over the LM-V2 4.3″ LCD and mounts via your camera’s Canon LA-V2 support arm and the included Zacuto mount. A built-in aluminum sun mask protects your LCD screen from sunlight. One installed and one additional Anti-Fog disks keep your view clear in humid or cold environments.

Note: WARNING: The Z-Finder is a magnifier and as such will magnify the sun which can damage the LCD screen if the sun is allowed to shine directly through the Z-Finder lens. Use the enclosed lens cap to block light from entering your Z-Finder when not in use.
