Add a soft light to your small camera or rig with the VL-49 Rechargeable Mini RGB Light from DigitalFoto. The compact 73-LED RGB light designed for use with DSLRs, camcorders, smartphones, or mirrorless cameras, and it is so lightweight you can add multiple lights onto your rig without much-added weight. It features a 120 beam angle, 800 lux brightness, a variable color temperature of 2500 to 9000K to emit multiple colors, full-color RGB, and a CRI of 95+ for accurate color rendering.
Powered using its integrated 2000mAh lithium-ion battery, it is charged using the USB Type-C port and lasts from approximately 15 hours on the lowest dimmer setting to the highest brightness at about 2 hours. It features battery status and color temperature status on the back mini color display. The light features a 0 to 100% dimmer dial, an integrated diffusion filter for soft light emission, 20 color effect modes, 9 special effects, color brightness, and hue adjustments for different looks.
The light features integrated magnets that allow it to be mounted on any flat metal surface, offering a variety of mounting options. In addition, its bottom shoe adapter with 1/4″-20 thread and three shoe mounts around each side enable you to stack multiple units for increased light levels. A laptop clamp is included so you can mount the light onto the lid of your laptop when vlogging or during a video conference.

Weak light output

Cost effective and well constructed

It arrived on time and well packaged. I was able to set it up quickly on a small tripod behind my laptop. It provides a powerful light and very much improved my virtual meeting set-up. I wish I would have gotten one of these 2 years ago!
Great focusing light for macro

Nice little light for my macro rig (Sony a7iii, Small Rig full cage, Tamron 90mm macro lens with A-mount to E-mount adapter, and this light with mini ball head). It’s bright wnough to help me focus at night and then I use a Godox v860iii flash with remote to actually light the photo. This light is bright enough to really work well, but is really light weight so it doesn’t make the rig much heavier (in fact, the ball head that holds it weighs more!) It has a lot of different settings for police or ambulance type lighting effects, but I dont need that. It IS nice to have however, and would be great for low budget video effects. I can’t speak to durability or battery life as I haven’t had a good chance to use it, other than to test that it actually turns on etc. However, for the other things, I do like it, and as long as it lasts for a year or two, I think it deserves 5 stars.
